From your first idea through to finished product, we handle every stage in-house - design, tooling, prototyping and production. Whatever you need, we're experts who are happy to guide you through it.
Request QuoteTool design built around your product and your budget, engineered to get the part right first time.
27 machines from 25 to 550 tonnes, ready to scale with you from prototype to high volume.
Second operations, assembly and insert fitting to deliver complete, ready-to-use parts - not just mouldings.
Overmoulding and insert moulding to combine materials and functions in a single, robust part.
Getting the design right is where quality starts. Our design team works with you to choose the right materials and turn your concept into a product that's functional, robust, well suited to injection moulding and good to look at. We use 3D Cimatron E for core and cavity splitting, electrode design, design change analysis and comparison, draft analysis and mould catalogues.
We evaluate every design at the conceptual stage, predicting how the plastic will behave in the mould so tooling can be designed with precision and potential problems engineered out before they cost you time or money.
The design data is then used to produce 3D-printed prototypes - a fast and inexpensive way to turn a design into a physical part, with a choice of materials to suit your application.
We design and manufacture our own tool dies for shot weights of up to 3 kg, which gives us close control over quality and timescales.
Having our own tool room is a real advantage. Many moulders don't, so when a tool breaks it has to be sent away and production can stall for weeks or even months. We repair on site with a full range of milling and EDM equipment, keeping downtime to a minimum.
As well as manufacturing in-house, we work with reliable tooling partners in the UK and selected, trusted suppliers in China, so you always get the right tool for the job.
Tool cavities can be CNC machined or spark eroded, with a full range of options for single or multiple cavities. We use NCG CAM for full CAM capabilities, generating the high-speed machining toolpaths that cut complex cavities and cores accurately in-house. Both cold feed and hot runner systems can be incorporated, with the design configured for your specific materials.
We'll help you balance cost against production life with a range of pricing and finish options, and we also carry out tool reconfiguration for design or machine changes, including rehousing of internal cavities.
Throughout, we work closely with you to make sure the tool is right - providing visualisations and carrying out tool inspection, testing and commissioning.
We run 27 injection moulding machines ranging from 25 to 550 tonnes, most of them manufactured by Arburg, producing tens of thousands of parts every week.
Our engineering team has the expertise to run and maintain the machines day to day, using a TPM programme to keep utilisation and reliability high - because consistent production is exactly what you're relying on us for.
We carry out conventional injection moulding, over-moulding and insert moulding. We select and source high-quality materials from proven suppliers and have experience processing most thermoplastics available on the market.
We manufacture a huge variety of components, including housings, aesthetic parts, two-part mouldings, clear mouldings and lenses, internal technical parts and high-tolerance parts.
Our factory is a clean and organised environment, with the layout optimised for an exceptionally lean flow of materials - from receipt of raw materials through to despatch of finished product.
Quality is built into everything we do, and our quality control systems are accredited to ISO 9001:2015 - so you can rely on consistent, high-quality parts on every order.
We also offer second operations and assembly to complement our moulding. Inserts can be in-moulded during the production cycle, or screwed or heat-staked into parts after moulding.
With the latest monitoring & scheduling systems, we deliver on time whatever the batch size, and we'll work closely with you to find the best solution for your packaging & distribution requirements.
Tell us about your project - whatever stage you're at - and we'll talk it through with you and come back with a considered quotation.
